Gabriel Bienczycki is an LA based cinematographer, photographer and director. Born in Poland, Gabriel studied music, fine arts and modern dance. During his extensive career as a dancer and choreographer, he sought an adequate translation of stage movement to film and still photography. This influence and commitment to movement, atheticism and human form are still strongly present in his work.

Current projects include feature narrative and documentary film, commercial campaigns, music video and humanitarian assignments.

Recent work includes Emmy winning feature Out of Iraq (Dir. Chris McKim) Feature length gangster comedy Mayday (Dir. Sam Akina) and Tribeca and Berlinale official selection All on the Mardi Gras Day (Dir. Michal Pietrzyk) as well as a festival decorated feature Finding Kim (Dir. Aaron Bear) and a narrative short Nowhere Band (Dir. Gabriel Bienczycki).

TV work includes MTV’s Rebel Music (prod. Ben Herson and Nusrat Durrani)

Short docs include Berlinale 2019 selection All on a Mardi Gras Day (Dir. Michal Pietrzyk) and IDF nominated Red Lake (Dir. Billy Luther).

Clients include: Nike, Dell, Microsoft, XBox, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Path, Nordstrom, Starbucks, LA Times, MTV, Komatsu and Amazon.
